Eligible Criteria of WB SET Exam 2019
Conditions of Eligibility: Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks in Master’s Degree OR equivalent exam from Universities/ Institutions recognized by UGC are eligible for this Test.
Age limit: There is no upper age limit for appearing at the SET. However, for the purpose of recruitment, the relevant Government Order will be applicable.
Fees & Mode of Payment: Fees of Rs.1000/- for General candidates or Rs.500/- for SC / ST / OBC (Non-creamy layer) / PWD Candidates. The candidates may pay the examination fee either by credit card/debit card/internet banking or through e-challan generated during the online submission of the application form. In the case of e-challan, the payment should be made at any Branch of the United Bank of India in India (Bank Charges Rs.40/- plus the service tax as applicable).
How to Apply of WB SET Exam 2019
Candidates have to visit web portal http://www.wbcsconline.in and apply online. Online Application facility along with the necessary information and copy of the syllabus will be available from the above-mentioned portal from 2nd September 2019, 12 noon. The last date of submission of Online Application is on 30th September 2019, 12 midnight. Candidates need not submit any hard copy of their application form, but they should retain a copy for future reference. Incomplete Applications are liable to be canceled without any refund of Application Fees.

WB SET 2019 Exam Pattern
The Test will consist of two papers. Both the papers will consist of only objective type questions and will be held on 19.01.2020 (Sunday) in two separate sessions as under:
First (Paper-I): 100 Marks (50 questions, all are compulsory).
Second (Paper-II): 200 Marks (100 questions, all are compulsory)
