Eligibility Criteria for 1452 WBPSC Fire Operator Admit Card 2018 – Written Exam Date
Salary Scale: (Pay Band-2) Rs.5,400 to 25,200/- with Grade Pay Rs.2,600/- besides D.A., M.A. and H.R.A. admissible as per rules.
Age Limit: Not less than 18 years and not more than 27 years on the 01.01.2018.
Age Relaxation: Provided that the upper age limit may be relaxable in respect of the candidates belonging to the categories of the SC or the ST or the OBC (Group A & B) in accordance with extant rules of the Government.
Academy Qualification: Must have passed the Madhyamik (10th) examination or its equivalent from any Government recognized Board or Institution.

Full Marks: 80
The paper will carry 80 marks having 80 question of 1(one) mark each, comprising of multiple choice objective type questions on English (20 marks), General Studies (40 marks) and Arithmetic (20 marks).
The examination will be of 10th standard.
Syllabus of the Examination:
01) English: Fundamentals of the English language such as Vocabulary, Grammar, Sentence structure, Synonyms, Antonyms and its correct usage etc.
02) General Studies: Matters of everyday observation including everyday Science, current events, and problems with special reference to India and elementary knowledge of Indian History and Indian Geography.
03) Arithmetic: Divisibility, Fractions, Decimals, Recurring Decimals, Simplification, H.C.F., L.C.M., Partnership, Average, Ratio and Proportion, Percentage, Simple Interest, Profit and Loss, Time and Distance, Area of Rectangles and Squares.
