** Fireman/Fire Operator
The scale of Pay: Rs.5200-20200/- plus Rs.1900/- GP
Age Limit: Between 18-27 Years.
Educational Qualification: Madhyamik (10th) Pass.

Eligible Criteria for WB Fire Department 1452 Fire Operator Post

Upper Age Limit: Relaxable for 5 years to candidates belonging to SC/St categories/ Govt. servants/ Ex-servicemen.

Selection Process: Selection maybe is done on the basis of the following examinations-

1. Physical Standard: Height- 5’5″ and Chest- 32″ with min. expansion of 2″

2. Physical Endurance: Must qualify for at least 5 out of 8 items of the physical efficiency test showing the minimum standard of efficiency noted for each item.
a. Race: 100 Mtrs. in 14 seconds.
b. High Jump: 132.20 cm.
c. Long Jump: 457.20 cm.
d. Shot put throw 7264 gms.
e. Throwing the Cricket Ball 6096 cm.
f. Rope Climbing 365.80 cm.
g. Pull up or chin up 8 times.
h. 1500 meters Race- 5 minutes and 45 seconds.

4. Driving Test (Only for Fireman/Driver Operator Post)

5. Written Examination
