Eligibility Criteria of UPSC CDS Exam 2022
Age Limit:
(i) For Indian Military Academy: Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1999 and not later than 1st January, 2004 only are eligible.
(ii) For Indian Naval Academy: Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1999 and not later than 1st January, 2004 only are eligible.
(iii) For Air Force Academy: 20 to 24 years as on 1st January, 2023 i.e. born not earlier than 2nd January, 1999 and not later than 1st January, 2003 only are eligible.
(iv) For Officers Training Academy (SSC Course for men): Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1997 and not later than 1st January, 2003 only are eligible.
(v) For Officers Training Academy (SSC Women Non-Technical Course): Unmarried women, issue less widows who have not remarried and issue less divorcees (in possession of divorce documents) who have not remarried are eligible. They should have been born not earlier than 2nd January, 1998 and not later than 1st January, 2004.
Educational Qualifications:
(i) For I.M.A. and Officers Training Academy: Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.
(ii) For Indian Naval Academy: Degree in Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.
(iii) For Air Force Academy: Degree of a recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
Application Fee & Payment Mode: Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs.200/- either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore or by using Credit/Debit Card (Visa/Master).

Selection Procedure: Selection will be through written examination, Physical Test and interview test.
Physical Conditioning: Prospective candidates are advised to keep themselves in good physical condition by following the under mentioned routine:—
(a) Running: 2 to 4 Km. in 15 minutes
(b) Skipping
(c) Push-ups & Sit-ups: Minimum 20 each
(d) Chin ups: Minimum 08
(e) Rope Climbing: 3 to 4 meters.
