Details Information Of University Grants Commission Recruitment 2018

Age Limit:
Joint Secretary:
For Direct Recruitment: Candidates age limit should be less than 50 years as on the last date of receipt of application
For Deputation: Candidates age limit should not be more than 56 years as on the last date of application

Deputy Secretary: 45 years as on the last date of receipt of application.

Education Officer: 40 years as on the last date of receipt of application.

Academic Qualification:
Joint Secretary: Doctorate in any discipline with First or second class Master’s Degree & At least 12 years of experience of teaching/research in any University or college or educational administration in higher education.

Deputy Secretary: First class Master’ Degree of a recognized University with a good academic record & At least 7 years’ experience of teaching/ research in University or college or Educational Administration in higher education

Education Officer: Master’s Degree with the minimum of 55% of marks from a recognized University & Five years of experience of teaching/research/Educational Administration.

Selection Process:
The shortlisted candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the Personal Interview, which will be conducted by the administration.

Pay Scale:
Joint Secretary: Rs.1,23,100 – 2,15,900/- Per month
Deputy Secretary: Rs.67,700 – 2,08,700/- per month
Education Officer: Rs.67,700 – 2,08,700/- per month
