Eligibility Criteria of Sail Recruitment 2022 Apply 333 Executive & Non Executive Post
Qualification= B.E./B.Tech. (full time) in any branch from Govt. recognized University / Institution and having practical experience of working in a factory for a period not less than 02 (two) years after acquiring Degree in Engineering.
Matriculation with 03 years (full time) Diploma in Engineering in any discipline from Govt. recognized institute.

Age Limit= Eligible candidates should be between 18 years to 30 years.
Educational qualification and age are divided post wise in the official notification.
AGE RELAXATION:
1. The maximum age is relaxable by 5 years for posts reserved for SC/ST candidates and by 3 years for posts reserved for OBC (Non-creamy Layer) candidates.
2. In case of Persons with Disability category, maximum age is relaxable by 10 years for GENERAL, 15 years for SC/ST and 13 years for OBC (Non-creamy Layer) candidates.
3. In case of Ex-Servicemen, maximum age is relaxable as per Government directives.
4. For Departmental candidates (employees of SAIL), the upper age limit shall be 45 years irrespective of the caste/category of the candidates.
Scale of Pay:- (For Executive Posts:) Asst. Manager (Safety)= Salary of Assistant Manager is Rs.50,000-3% to – Rs.1,60,000 (E-1)
After completion of one year of service/training, they shall be considered in E-1 grade in the Scale of Pay of Rs.60,000–3%–1,80,000/- (E–1).
(For Non-Executive Posts:) Operator-cum-Technician (Boiler Operator) (S–3) / Mining Foreman (S–3) / Surveyor (S–3) = Rs.26,600-3%- Rs. 38,920/- (S-3).
Mining Mate (S–1)= Rs.25,070-3%-Rs. 35,070/- (S-1)
Fire Operator (Trainee) (S–3) / Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) (S–3)
Monthly Consolidated Pay during training= Rs.16,100/- (1st Year)

Selection Process
Computer Based Test (CBT) Duration of Computer Based Test (CBT) will be two hours. Minimum qualifying marks for Unreserved/EWS posts will be determined on the basis of 50 percent score in Computer Based Test (CBT). Minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/PWD posts will be 40 percent score. The qualifying marks will be calculated separately for each post/discipline.
Candidates, who qualify Computer Based Test (CBT) for the post of Assistant. Manager (Safety), will be selected for interview in order of merit in the ratio of 1:3 Knowledge of Oriya language (speaking, reading and writing) will be assessed during the interview. Any candidate found not suitable in Oriya language assessment will not be further evaluated and his candidature will not be considered for selection. For final selection, the merit list will be prepared by combining the marks of Computer Based Test (CBT) and Interview with weightage of 80:20 respectively.

(d) Candidates can opt to pay the application fee online through Net Banking/Credit Card / ATM-cum-Debit Card or at Bank through system generate Challan Form.
