Scale of Pay:
a) Water Carrier, Safaiwala, Washerman, Barber and Gardener: Level 3 of 7th CPC pay Matrix with initial pay of Rs.21,700/- and other allowances admissible at that time.
b) Tailor and Cobbler: Level 2 of 7th CPC pay matrix with initial pay of Rs.19,900/- and other allowances admissible at that time.
Educational Qualification:
• For Constable Posts: The applicant must have passed the Matriculation (Class 10th Pass) or equivalent examination conducted by a recognized Board. 

Age Limit:

Constable The applicant must not be less than 18 years and not more than 25 years.

Relaxation in Age: Relaxation in upper age limit up to 05 years will be admissible to applicants
belonging to SC/ST category and up to 03 years to those belonging to OBC category.

Method of Recruitment: Recruitment will be made based on the performance of the eligible applicants in a Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Measurement Test (PMT), and Documents Verification.
Examination Fees: Candidates belonging to General & Other Unreserved categories need to pay examination fee of Rs.500/- (Non-refundable) and SC, ST, Ex-Ser, PWDs, Female & Other Reserved candidates need to pay of Rs.250/- (This fee of Rs.250/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges to such candidates who appear in the First stage CBT). The application fee should be paid through Online (Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card) or SBI Bank Challan or Post Office Challan.

How to Apply: The eligible candidates can apply through Online mode from the official website i.e. http://www.indianrailways.gov.in from 01.01.2019 to 30.01.2019.

Download Hall Ticket (e-Call Letter) for CBT: Candidates can verify their eligibility status from the website. SMS and E-mail messages will be sent to all eligible candidates about the e-call letter upload details. Photographs shall be scanned in colour and printed on the call letter. Eligible candidates can download the e-call letter from the Railways website about 10 days before the date of the CBT/PET/PMT/Document Verification (as the application). No call letter will be sent to candidates by post.
