Eligibility Criteria for Karwar Naval Ship Repair Yard Recruitment 2017
Educational Qualification: Candidates scored above 50% marks in SSLC or Matriculation or 10th class or equivalent and above 65% marks in the ITI (SCVT or NCVT).
Age Limit & Relaxation: Candidates should have completed 14 years and below 21 years of age as on 01 Apr. 2018. Upper age limit of 21 years is relaxable for SC, ST, PWD, Ex-Ser, Wards of Ex-Servicemen and other notified categories as per Govt. rules in Force.
Stipend Details: As per Govt. of India notification. At present, selected candidates are paid eighty/ninety percent of the minimum wage of semi-skilled workers as notified by the Govt. of Karnataka/NCVT guidelines (Rs.8320 to 9360/- per month as on 01 Jul 2017).
Selection Procedure: The Selection of the eligible candidates shall be based on their performance in the written test and documents verification/interview.
How to Apply: Step-1: Interested and eligible candidates are required to register online through NCVT MIS website portal (www.apprenticeship.gov.in).
Step-2: Candidates meeting the educational, age and another qualification mentioned above is to prepare an application on white paper furnishing candidates name, apprentice registration number, gender, trade applied for, Date of Birth, reservation category, marks obtained in SSLC/Matriculation & ITI, Aadhar number, contact number, email id, with candidate signature and along with two copies of apprentice registration form & three coloured passport size photographs are to be forwarded to “The Officer in Charge, Dockyard Apprentice School, NSRY, Naval Base PO, Karwar, Karnataka – 581308”.
