Eligibility Criteria of Intelligence Bureau (IB) Recruitment 2022

Educational Qualification: Graduation or equivalent from a any recognized University.

B.E or B.Tech in the fields of: Electronics or Electronics & Tele

communication or Electronics & Communication or Electrical & Electronics or Information Technology or Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Computer Science & Engineering: from a Government recognized University/College/Institute. Or

Master’s Degree in Science with Electronics or Physics with Electronics or Electronics & Communication or Computer Science; or Master’s Degree in Computer Applications; from a Governmet recognized University/College/Institute.

Age Limit, Reservations & Relaxations: 18-27 years
a) Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST & by 3 years for OBC.

b) Upper age limit is relaxable for departmental candidates upto 40 years of age who have rendered 3 years of regular and continuous service.

c) The age limit is relaxable up to age of 35 years for general candidates and up to 40 years for SC/ST in case of widows, divorced women and women judicially separates from their husbands and not remarried.

IB Salary: Rs.44,900 to 1,42,400/- (Pay Band-7) plus admissible Central Govt. allowances. [Under revision as per the recommendations of 7th C.P.C.]
Special Security Allowance @ 20% of basic pay in addition to other Govt. allowances.

Selection Of Candidates Intelligence Bureau Recruitment 2022

i) Candidates shortlisted on the basic of valid GATE score card will appear directly for the Interview at Delhi.
ii) Candidates has the option to provide his/her best GATE score from amongst GATE 2020 or 2021 or 2022.
iii) The date, time & centre of Interview would be intimated to the shortlisted candidates by E-mail given by them in online application.
iv) Based on the combined score of GATE, Interview & Psychometric Test, the candidates would be shortlisted for final selection subject to their Character and Antecedent verification followed by medical examination, etc.

Examination Fee of Intelligence Bureau (IB) Recruitment 2022

Rs. 100/- Only male candidates belonging to General, EWS and OBC category are required to pay the fee. All SC/ST candidates, female candidates and Ex-Serviceman are exempted from payment of examination fee.

Ex-Serviceman who have already secured employment in civil side under Central Govt in Group ‘C’ post on regular basic after availing benefits of reservation given to them are required to pay the examination fee, i.e. Rs. 100/-.
