Details Information Of Indian Air Force Assam Recruitment 2018
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central or State Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
Date of Birth Block: Candidates born between 14 July 1998 and 26 June 2002 (both days inclusive) are eligible to appear in the Recruitment Rally.
Pay & Allowances: ☢ During training, a stipend of Rs.14,600/- per month shall be paid. On completion of training the starting gross emoluments at the minimum of scale of pay including Military Service Pay (MSP) shall be Rs.26,900/- per month plus Dearness allowance (as applicable) which, in subsequent years, may rise as per the career progression of the individual, as per applicable Government rules.
☢ Other allowances such as Transport Allowance, Composite Personal Maintenance Allowance (CPMA), Leave Ration Allowance (LRA), Children Education Allowance, HRA etc. shall also be admissible to airmen, as per relevant Government instructions.
Job Specification:
(a) Automobile Technician: As an Automobile Technician you shall drive all types of light, medium and heavy automobiles, load carriers and specialist vehicles like cranes, towing tractors, fork lifters etc., subject to service exigencies. You shall also carry out minor repairs, day to day maintenance and basic level servicing of the common user vehicles and specialist vehicles in the Indian Air Force inventory.
(b) Indian Air Force (Police): As an Indian Air Force (Police) your responsibilities involve assuming police duties and investigation of offenses. You are also in charge of maintenance of security.
Mode of Selection: Selection will be made on the basis of performance in the Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Written Test, Adaptability Test, and Medical Examination.
Consent form for Physical Fitness Test and Medical Tests: Candidate shall bring the “Consent Form” (as per the format is given below) to the Rally Venue (Air Force Station Borjhar, Guwahati, Assam) and submit it before the Physical Fitness Test. Candidates below 18 years of age shall get the Consent Form filled and signed by their parent/guardian. The candidates of 18 years of age and above can sign the consent form themselves.
