Age Limit & Relaxation:
The minimum age required to apply for Himachal Pradesh TET 2017 has been freezed to 18 years. However, the maximum age limit of the candidates should not exceed 40 years as on 01.01.2018.
The Age Relaxation extra for the following categories candidates
For SC / ST Category Candidates: 5 Years
For OBC Category Candidates: 3 Years
For PWD Category Candidates : 10 Years
Academic Qualification: For TGT (Arts): BA/B.Com with at least 50% marks from any recognized university. For TGT (Non-Medical): B.Sc (NM) with 50% marks from recognized university/board. For TGT Medical: B.Sc (Medical) with 50% marks from recognized university/board. For Shastri: Shastri with at least 50% marks. Language Teacher: Applicants must have completed their B.A or its equivalent degree in the relevant discipline from the recognized university with minimum marks. For JBT: 10+2 with 50% marks and two years JBT certificate course.
Application Fee:
Applicants have to make payment through online mode only at the time online application process.
For General/ OBC candidates : Rs. 800/-
For OBC/ SC/ ST/ PH candidates : Rs. 500/-
Selection Process:
