Details Of GP Birla Educational Foundation:
G.P. Birla Educational Foundation proposes to grant G.P. Birla Scholarship to meritorious students bath male and female of West Bengal who have passed their 12th class examination in the year 2020 by scoring 80% marks or more from state board and 85% or more from Central Board or have secured rank in top 15000 in AIEEE/JEE/AIPMT Tests and are in need of financial help to further their education.

Birla scholarship will be granted to 65 selected students for one year at a time for furthering their studies in any stream including Science, Humanities, Engineering, Medicine, Architecture, Commerce, Law, Chartered Accountancy, Company Secretaryship and Cost Accountancy Course from any recognized University/Institution in India. The scholarship may be continued for further years if the student shows satisfactory performance in the preceding year.
The applications for G.P. Birla scholarship may be forwarded through the Head of the Institution from which the Student has passed Class XII or where he has taken admission. The final selection of G.P. Birla Scholars will be done by the panel of experts from the trust after scrutinizing the applications of prospective candidates on the basis of academic merit and personal interview.
GP Birla Educational Foundation Scholarships 2020 – Important Details
GP Birla Scholarship Amount:
Scholarship amount will be to cover Tuition Fees and Hostel Fees, [where applicable], subject to a ceiling of Rs. 50,000/- per student per year. The Scholarship will be granted to 65 selected students for one year at a time, to be continued till completion of the Course on yearly basis, subject to satisfactory performance by the Student in the preceding year, as evaluated by the Trust. Additional onetime payment of Rs. 7000/- towards purchase of Books in 1st Year shall also be given.
Subject Covers:
Candidate can study any stream such as Science, Humanities, Engineering, Medicine, Architecture, Commerce, Law, Chartered Accountancy, Company Secretary Course in any recognised University in India.
Selection Process:
The applications of the candidates will be reviewed by an Expert Panel of judges of the G.P. Birla Educational Foundation. The decision of the Expert Panel will be final. Candidates are short listed and called for an interview.
