Eligibility Criteria of GSI Recruitment 2019 for 37 Driver Post
Educational Qualification:
Matriculation (10th Class) or its equivalent pass from recognized School or Board and Driving licence for Light Motor Vehicles (LMV) & Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMV).
Work Experience:
Three (03) years experience in driving trucks, jeeps or tractors in a recognized organization and Experience in repairs and maintenance of vehicles.
Age Limit & Relaxation: The candidate’s age limit should be not less than 18 years and not more than 25 years. Age relaxation in upper age limit as per rules.
Pay Scale:
Level-2 (Rs.19,900 to Rs.63,200) of Pay Matrix of 7th Central Pay Commission.
Selection Process: Direct Recruitment – Selection through open competitive exam by holding trade test (Practical and Written) to be conducted by the appointing authority.
Syllabus for Trade Test:
a. Able to read English numerals and figures.
b. Have knowledge of traffic rules and regulations.
c. To be able to identify defects and carryout minor repairs.
d. To change wheels and correctly inflate tyres.
