Eligibility Criteria for Election Commission Recruitment 2018
Qualification Details: Officers of Central or State Governments with following qualifications or eligibility may apply for the deputation post.
01) For Director (EVM & Planning and Electoral Rolls) Posts: AIS officer holding posts in JAG scale, and 05 years field experience as District Election Officer or Returning Officer or Electoral Registration Officer.
02) For Director (IT) Posts: AIS officer holding posts in JAG scale, and 5 years field experience as District Election Officer/Returning Officer/Electoral Registration Officer, and Possessing B.E./B.Tech/MCA or M. Tech Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology from a recognized University or equivalent.
Salary Details: The selected candidates will the get pay scale of (Level-13) Rs.1,23,100 to 2,15,900/- Per Month, and Other facility or/and allowance as per Government of India Rules.
How to Apply: The applications in the enclosed proforma (Bio-Data, as per given below application form link) along with following documents may be forwarded to the Principal Secretary (Admn.), Election Commission of India, Nirvachan Sadan, Ashoka Road, New Delhi – 110001 on or before 06.08.2018, strictly through proper channel.
(i) Attested copies of the APAR/ACR of the officer concerned for the last 03 years
(ii) Vigilance clearance and Integrity Certificate.
(iii) Statement of Penalties imposed, if any, during the last ten years.
What will be the Selection Procedure: The selection will be done by conducting an interview of shortlisted officers by a Committee of Officers as decided by the Commission. The Commission may at its discretion modify the procedure to its satisfaction.
How much time it may take the selection process to complete: Selection process will be completed approximately within one month from the closing date, subject to exigencies of work.
