Eligibility Criteria for Eastern Naval Recruitment 2018

Educational Qualification: Matriculation (10th class) or equivalent pass from a recognized Board or Institution.

Age Limit: The candidate’s age limit should be between 18 to 42 years for Master posts and 18 years to 37 years for all other Posts. The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC, and 10 years for PwBDs (UR) category candidates.

Pay Scale:
1) Master Grade-I: Level-6 (Rs.35400 to 112400/- Per Month).
2) Master Grade-II: Level-5 (Rs.29200 to 92300/- Per Month).
3) Syrang of Lascar: Level-4 (Rs.25500 to 81100/- Per Month).
4) Lascar-I: Level-1 (Rs.18000 to 56900/- Per Month).
5) Senior Engine Driver: Level-6 (Rs.35400 to 112400/- Per Month).
6) Engine Driver II Class: Level-5 (Rs.29200 to 92300/- Per Month).
7) Engine Driver: Level-4 (Rs.25500 to 81100/- Per Month).
8) Greaser: Level-1 (Rs.18000 to 56900/- Per Month).
9) Fireman: Level-1 (Rs.18000 to 56900/- Per Month).

Mode of Selection: Selection will be made on the basis of performance in the Written Examination Test, Physical Endurance Test & Swimming Test, Document Verification, and Medical Examination.

How to Apply: The application should be on plain paper (A4 Size) (good quality paper should be used) either neatly handwritten or typed as per the prescribed format, affixed with latest passport size color photograph duly self-attested. The envelope must be clearly superscribed on the top as Application for the Post of “________” and Category “__________” (i.e.SC/ST/OBC/PwBDs/ESM/Meritorious Sportsperson) and sent by Registered post only to The Admiral Superintendent {for Manager Personnel}, Naval Dockyard, Visakhapatnam – 530014 along with the all relevant documents.

Opening and Closing date for Application:
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates by Registered Post only as per Annexure-I, so as to reach within 45 days from the date of issue of this publication. The last date for receipt of applications from candidates residing at Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul & Spiti district and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, Lakshadweep, Andaman & Nicobar Islands is seven days thereafter.
