Eligibility Criteria of Cochin Shipyard Ltd Recruitment 2022
Age Limit= Must be 30 years old.
The upper age limit prescribed for all the posts shall not exceed 30 years as on 15 July 2022, i.e. applicants should be born on or after 16 July 1992.
Relaxation:- The upper age limit is relaxable by 03 years for OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates and 05 years for SC/ST candidates in posts reserved for them.

Education Qualification= The minimum qualification stipulated for all the posts must be from an Institute / Examination Board recognized by AICTE / appropriate statutory authority / State / Central Government.
Pass in SSLC and ITI- National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the trade of Welder/Welder (Gas & Electric).
Minimum of three years post qualification experience / training in the relevant trade.
Pass in SSLC and ITI –NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Instrument Mechanic.
Minimum of three years post qualification experience /training in the relevant trade.

Remuneration: Consolidated pay per Month= Rs. 23,300/- (Contract Period: 1st year)
Compensation for extra hours of Work= Rs. 4,900/-
Consolidated pay per Month= Rs. 24,000/- (Contract Period: 2nd year)
Compensation for extra hours of Work= Rs. 5,000/-
Consolidated pay per Month= Rs. 24,800/- (Contract Period: 3rd year)
Compensation for extra hours of Work= Rs. 5,100/-
Application Fee
Application fee of ` 300/- (Non – refundable, plus bank charges extra) should be remitted using the Online payment options (Debit card/Credit card/Internet Banking/Wallets/ UPI etc) which can be accessed through our Online application facility from 30 June 2022 to 15 July 2022. No other mode of payment shall be accepted.
Selection Process:-
The method of selection shall include Phase I – Objective type online test and Phase II
Practical Test, as detailed under:-
Post= Fabrication Assistants (SMW & Welder)= Phase I : Objective type online Test – 30 marks
Phase II : Practical Test – 70 marks Post= Outfit Assistants in various trades= (Based on grades obtained in Practical test) Total-100 marks (Method of selection and Marks)
