Eligibility Criteria for Assam Jail Police Recruitment 2018

Age Limit & Relaxation: Candidates age limit should be between 18 to 38 years as on 1st January 2018. The upper age limit will be relaxed by 05 years in respect of candidates belonging to SC, ST(P) and ST(H) under the provision of Reservation Rules.

Pay Scale & Other Allowances: The selected candidates will the get pay scale of Rs.14,000 to 49,000/- along with Grade pay of Rs.5,000/- per month, plus other allowances as admissible under the Rules.

Educational Qualification:
¤ For Male Warder Posts: HSLC (12th Class) or Class X (10th Class) passed from a recognized Board, and Candidates should produce undertakings as to know bi-cycling.

¤ For Female Warder Posts: Must have passed the Annual examination of Class VIII or an equivalent examination recognized by the Government.

Mode of Selection: The candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Examination Test, Physical Standard Tests (PST), and Physical Efficiency Tests (PET).
