This is the first Muslim Minority General Degree College in West Bengal. This college is affiliated to the University of Calcutta. Students should pass 12th Exam conducted by West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) or an equivalent examination conducted by other state board/council or Rabindra Mukta Vidyalaya / National Open School with 100 marks in each subject of which one shall be English.
Students should score a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate and 45% marks in the subject or related subject or 55% marks in the subject or 50% marks in aggregate. Cut off marks for Sc / ST candidates will be 40% in aggregate.
